ABOUT ME
My early music training I received in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. Throughout school, I was prize winner of musical awards both locally and internationally. I continued my education in a music conservatoire in London studying Bachelor in Classical Violin at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
The following decade I spent in London studying, teaching and performing in various ensembles from classical orchestras, to string groups alongside DJs & pop singers on tours & festivals as well as weddings. I had the opportunity to perform at all major UK concert venues including the The Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, National Portrait Gallery, Wembley Stadium, the O2 Arena and the world-famous Abbey Road Studios.
In 2017 I made the tricky decision to stop teaching my long-term students to set sail as a resident performer on cruise ships. Over the next 5 years I traveled to various countries such as Japan, Mexico, Alaska, South Coast, Europe and Caribbean. At sea, I met my partner who is also a violinist.
In 2022 I returned back on land, residing in East Sussex where I acquired The Seasons Art Class Eastbourne franchise, with weekly art classes at The Cavendish Hotel, Eastbourne. We hold three Art Exhibitions a year.
2023, I created Digital Legacy Owl Digital legacy planning. Manage your digital asset’s inheritance. Svaaba is another venture I started in 2023. Art for Hire. Svaaba helps connect artists with audiences.
EastSounds music agency is connecting local musicians around Sussex & Kent with performing opportunities at weddings and functions.
I enjoy living by the coast, listening to tropical house music, rollerskating and mediterranean cuisine.
I play on a handmade violin made in 1987 by Nayden Ganchev, named the “Bulgarian Stradivari”
How I Became a Cruise Ship Violinist
Being a freelance Violinist in London, UK is great. Becoming a resident musician on a major International cruise line gives me a fresh perspective of performing and audience interaction. The daily performances at sea are indeed in line with the performance degree I acquired at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2014. Since then, I entered the education industry as a teacher for two year post-graduation as a full-time.
In 2017 a new chapter opened, joining the Crown Princess ship sailing out of Miami, Florida for a European season across Norwegian fjords, Spain, Portugal and the UK. Since then I have been fortunate enough to meet thousands of cruisers across Japan, Alaska, California coast and Mexico and Europe.
